King murdered before his court Three sisters inherit a divided kingdom Failing wyvern bonds destabilize rule Rebellion rises around the throne Sisters must unite against conspirators

A king is murdered before his people and his assassin leaves the sigil of a noble house. His three daughters inherit a divided court, a throne with no clear successor, and a kingdom beginning to fracture. For centuries Ostreich has been held together by ravenglass, wyverns, and the ancient bond between rider and mount, but now that bond is failing.

Irmin is a warrior who trusts her blade, her wyvern, and almost no one else. Elana can outmanoeuvre any noble, but her failing sight leaves her exposed to dangers she cannot see. Adelinde has discovered something corrupting the wyvern bonds that may destroy the royal family before it consumes the realm. With rebellion rising and conspirators closing around the throne, their enemies want the sisters suspicious, divided, and fighting one another.

After a king is murdered and his assassin leaves a noble sigil, his three daughters inherit a divided court and a failing wyvern bond.

Coming of Age

Reader guide

What to Know Before Reading The Ravenglass Throne

Book focuses on three royal sisters and the political consequences of a public regicide. Much of the setup centers on the failing bond between riders and wyverns and how that fracture affects Ostreich’s stability. The book emphasizes rebellion, conspirators, and court scheming around a throne with no clear successor. This may appeal more to someone interested in action-oriented fantasy with political tension and a strong emphasis on sibling relationships and mounted combat.
