Muungano empire faces external threats Amachi Adisa emerges as a leader Stacia Chikeke captains the Cypher Elite unit battles uncharted regions Conflict between old powers and new order

Sweep of Stars follows members of the Muungano empire, a coalition of city-states that split away from old Earth to form a far-reaching polity stretching from O.E. (original earth) to Titan. The Muungano sought to escape endless wars and oppression and build a new order guided by elders, scientists, and warriors, but old powers now set plots in motion to destroy what they have built.

As threats escalate, young leaders such as Amachi Adisa contend for the authority to guide the empire, Fela Buhari and her elite unit take the fight to regions not seen by human eyes, and Stacia Chikeke, captain of the starship Cypher, faces enemies across the stars and within her own vessel while searching for critical answers.

When outside powers plot to destroy the Muungano empire, young leaders Amachi Adisa and Stacia Chikeke must fight for its survival.

Reader guide

What to Know Before Reading Sweep of Stars

The description focuses on political and military struggles within a speculative interstellar federation that split from old Earth. Much of the setup centers on competing young leaders, the Muungano’s elders and scientists, and elite units operating in unknown regions of space. The supernatural does not appear central; the emphasis is on empire-building, external conspiracies, and shipboard conflict. This may appeal more to someone interested in large-scale political stakes combined with focused action among named individuals.
