Trafficked to powerful men Daring escape at nineteen Childhood abuse explored Advocate for other victims Legacy of resilience

Virginia Roberts Giuffre is known as Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s most outspoken victim. Her journey has never been fully told until now. In April 2025, Giuffre took her own life and left behind this powerful memoir, written in the years preceding her death. Nobody’s Girl reveals her experiences with Epstein and Maxwell, who trafficked her to numerous prominent men, and recounts her daring escape at nineteen. Giuffre’s story is one of courage and resilience.

Here, Giuffre offers an unsparing and definitive account of her time with Epstein and Maxwell, who trafficked her and others to numerous prominent men. She also details the molestation she suffered as a child, as well as her daring escape from Epstein and Maxwell’s grasp at nineteen. Giuffre remade her life from scratch and summoned the courage to not only hold her abusers to account but also advocate for other victims. The pages of Nobody’s Girl preserve her voice—and her legacy—forever.

Nobody’s Girl is an astonishing affirmation of Giuffre’s unshakable will—first, to claw her way out of victimhood, and then to shine light on wrongdoing and fight for a safer, fairer world. Equal parts intimate and fierce, it is a remarkable narrative of fortitude in the face of depravity and despair.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre

VIRGINIA ROBERTS GIUFFRE (1983–2025) was an activist and advocate for sex-trafficking survivors. She lived in Australia with her family. Virginia Louise Roberts Giuffre (1983–2025) was an American-Australian author, victims' rights advocate, and one of the most prominent survivors and accusers of the sex-trafficking network run by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Recruited at age 16 while working at the Mar-a-Lago resort, she spent years enduring severe abuse and was forced to encounter multiple powerful figures, including Britain's Prince Andrew. In the decades that followed, she became a fierce legal and public advocate for sex-trafficking survivors, launching the nonprofit organization Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR) and pursuing high-profile civil actions that were instrumental in unsealing incriminating documents and bringing systemic abuse to light. Before her death by suicide in Western Australia in April 2025, Giuffre collaborated with journalist Amy Wallace to finalize her 400-page manuscript. Her unsparing posthumous memoir, Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, was published in October 2025 by Alfred A. Knopf. The book offers an unflinching account of her life, detailing childhood trauma, her experiences within Epstein's circle, and her lifelong mission to provide transparency and hope to other survivors of sexual abuse.
