The Secret World of Briar Rose

One hundred years after Gyldan’s last heir fell into eternal slumber and the kingdom fell to poverty and invasion, Corin, a jaded thief, searches the city’s underground tunnels for her younger sister, Elly, who ran away to find the sleeping princess. Corin discovers the ruined castle maintained by beings from Gyldan’s golden age and a hidden portal into Princess Amelia’s subconscious, then follows Elly’s voice and seals the entry behind her. Inside Amelia’s lush dream world the sisters reunite and meet Briar Rose, Amelia’s whimsical alter ego, and Malicine, a sharp-tongued demon with a gift for magic. As they explore ice castles, sunflower mazes, and star-filled oceans, Corin grows suspicious that Briar Rose hides darker secrets the subconscious cannot bury forever.
