One of Us Is Lying

On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention: Bronwyn, the brain who is Yale-bound; Addy, the picture-perfect homecoming princess; Nate, the criminal already on probation for dealing; Cooper, the all-star baseball pitcher; and Simon, the outcast who runs Bayview High’s notorious gossip app. Only four leave that classroom alive when Simon is found dead before the end of detention. Investigators say his death was not an accident, and Simon had planned to post damaging secrets about the other four the next day, making each of them a suspect and raising the question of whether a killer is still on the loose.
