Mistborn

The Mistborn saga frames an epic fantasy world where ash and mist cover the land and an immortal emperor called the Lord Ruler controls the realm. Once a hero arose to save the world, but that rescue failed, and the setting remains a wasteland under tyrannical rule. A new uprising is gathering around the planning of an extraordinary heist led by a brilliant criminal mastermind. At its center is an unlikely heroine, a street urchin who must learn to master the supernatural power known as a Mistborn as she joins the plot and confronts the Lord Ruler's order.
