Carried Away

In 1975, as Saigon teeters on the brink of collapse, Ross Meador finds himself thrust into a desperate race against time. A year earlier he arrived in Vietnam at nineteen seeking purpose; now his mission is to help evacuate as many orphaned children as possible before the city falls. Meador becomes a key figure in Operation Babylift, a last-ditch effort to move thousands of children out of harm’s way. Faced with impossible choices, growing urgency, and the chaos of a losing war, he risks everything to bring those children to safety during one of the war’s most fraught evacuations.
