The Nigerian Prince

Joanna Montgomery is a Cambridge lawyer who makes a living dismantling financial schemes, so when an email signed by a "Nigerian prince" arrives she is certain it is a con. The message asks for nothing and, against her training and instincts, everything it promises proves true, propelling Joanna from her courtroom onto a private jet and home to a country she never expected to see again. She reunites with Ben, the man she once loved who is now heir to a throne, and travels through Nigeria’s great kingdoms, centuries-old palaces, and vibrant markets. Joanna confronts a tradition she never imagined—polygamy—and the choice it forces on her identity, even as an unnamed danger follows them both.
