A Sanctuary of Beasts

Former con artist Kasira has found a home at the Library of Amorlin and fallen in love with Allaster, the prickly Librarian who guards it. Allaster is losing his battle against a curse that will transform him into a dangerous beast; each day a little more of his humanity slips away, and Kasira faces the prospect of being forced to take his life. Stubborn and determined, Kasira vows to find another solution despite having few allies and fewer leads. She suspects a link between the Library's fading magic and the curse borne by every Librarian, and must sift through manuscripts and artifacts even as enemies prepare to strike again and time runs out.
