The Girl of the Lake

Beneath the dark waters of an isolated lake lies a forgotten eighteenth-century temple and, to the shock of a nearby village, an entire submerged city. A team of researchers explores the ruins and encounters distorted religious symbols, abandoned streets, and a mysterious little girl watching from the depths as ancient documents mention purification, sacrifice, and an incomplete ritual. As divers descend, strange currents pull them toward unintended places, equipment fails, whispers rise from the water, and shadows move among the ruins. The expedition confronts paranormal phenomena and the escalating realization that the drowned city is not empty and that something has waited there for centuries.
