Rhiannon, a deceptively ordinary 27-year-old editorial assistant living a seemingly mundane life with her boyfriend and her dog. On the surface, she plays the part of the quiet, overlooked girl next door, politely tolerating the irritating chatter of her friends, a dead-end job, and the micro-aggressions of daily life. However, beneath this meek facade lies a deeply broken, angry introvert carrying severe childhood trauma from a notorious past crime. Rhiannon copes with the world by harboring a dark, compulsive desire to kill, meticulously maintaining a daily diary that tracks her innermost thoughts and a growing "kill list". Her targets range from severe societal abusers to anyone committing petty daily annoyances, like the driver who cuts her off or a rude grocery clerk.
