Project Hail Mary

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor aboard a tiny spacecraft after a long sleep, awakened millions of miles from Earth with no memory of who he is or why he is on the mission. He finds himself isolated with two dead crewmates and fragments of returning recollection. Confronted with an extinction-level threat to humanity, Ryland must puzzle out an impossible scientific mystery while hurtling through space. With the nearest human light-years away and the clock ticking, the mission depends on his ability to reconstruct the past and solve the crisis alone.
