Reader guide

What to Know Before Reading The Asteroid Heist

This book is about a high-stakes criminal heist set in deep space and anchored on a single professional thief, Jake Pool. Much of the setup centers on danger, preparation, and the practical risks of a job with no escape route. The speculative elements include cloned crew members and reptilian mercenaries, making the book feel rooted in science fiction as much as crime. This will appeal more to readers interested in violent, tactical space adventures with mixed-species crews and clear, immediate danger.
