I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I lately despair of sci-fi and fantasy novels that have dialogue that is choppy and doesn’t flow well, and characters that aren’t fleshed out enough. Not a problem at all with this author. His world-building and characters make me want to return to the book like those of the past masters of the genre. I look forward to delving into his other works and the arrival of the next book in this series.
