Sadie Lin is losing minutes of her life: she misses appointments, loses track of evenings, and watches her grades, music, and planned future begin to slip away. Her confusion deepens when Gordon Bakersfield, the boy behind her ninth-grade crush, offers an impossible explanation that someone is stealing her time. The suspected thief is Maya Milansky, Sadie’s former best friend and fiercest academic rival, but Maya is not the only student involved. Gordon has secrets of his own and motives that complicate his help. To reclaim her life, Sadie must learn to control a power she barely understands as she confronts theft, hoarding, and the possibility of giving time away.
