Rogue

A rogue planet is on a collision course with Earth and will destroy every living thing on the planet. Extinction is almost certain: twenty-six billion lives will be lost while nine million people are slated to survive aboard the Bertram Ramsay, a vast space station scheduled to leave Earth in months. Jaxon Leith is among the chosen, plucked from the Bleeds, London’s towering slums, and thrown into Compression, the final brutal phase of training for life in space. The evacuation faces organized opposition from the Acolytes of Gaia, whose infiltration threatens the mission as launch day nears.
