About the Book

Stones of Wrath

In the spring of 1916 archaeology professor Mikkel Jacobsen is surveying the ruins of Sheffield Manor when he is asked to verify a tapestry rumoured to have belonged to the imprisoned Mary Queen of Scots. As head of the new humanities faculty at the university he examines stitching that contains a coded message from Mary’s grandmother, Antoinette de Bourbon, which hints at the whereabouts of a 3000-year-old Biblical relic. The relic is presented as having an appointment with the future and, in the wrong hands, the capacity to bring death and destruction. Professor Jacobsen and his friends join a dangerous race to find and protect the relic from malevolent forces, while a kidnapped child and romantic entanglements complicate their mission.
